I was instantly excited when I first met with Ashley & Tim and they told me their wedding would be the weekend before Christmas at the Semper Fidelis Memorial Chapel with a reception at The National Museum of the Marine Corps in Quantico, Virgina. Thoughts came to mind of a winter wonderland wedding with snow and cold air, but Mother nature pulled a fast one on us and we ended up with GORGEOUS 72 degree weather on the big day which is always fine by me!
In addition, I love the military. I come from a long line of military family members from my great grandfather to my grandfather and on down to my dad. Even my husband and his family are all military.I absolutely love the National Museum of the Marine Corps and the way it warms your heart and brings a tear to your eye all at the same time.
Ashley and Tim’s wedding really reminded me of the Royal wedding. From her stunning hair, veil, dress, and cowboy boots to his dapper dress blue uniform, they looked sharp from head to toe. They definitely threw a wedding for their guests to remember and everyone danced the night away. I wish Ashley & Tim a lifetime of love and happiness for them and their adorable son Tatum!
I arrived early enough to walk around and found the brick my grandfather had made with his and his brothers’ names on it.
